It featured Randy \u201cBiscuits\u201d Turner of the\u00a0<strong>Big Boys<\/strong>\u00a0and Duane Denison before he moved to Chicago to form\u00a0<strong>The Jesus Lizard<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>After their first album,\u00a0<em>Strange Men Bearing Gifts<\/em>\u00a0on Touch and Go records, they recorded demos for a second album in 1987, but broke up before the record materialized. These demos are available now for the first time.<\/p>\n<p>In 2004 Biscuits put together the\u00a0<strong>Texas Biscuit Bombs<\/strong>\u00a0with\u00a0<strong>Maximum Rock\u2019n\u2019Roll<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Left Of The Dial <\/strong>writer David Ensminger. Their set list included many Texas punk classics (<strong>Really Red<\/strong>\u2018s \u201cTeaching You the Fear\u201d,\u00a0<strong>The Dicks<\/strong>\u00a0\u201cHate the Police\u201d, and of course many\u00a0<strong>Big Boys<\/strong> numbers), as well as not-so-punk classics (<strong>ZZ Top<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Creedence Clearwater Revival<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Spencer Davis Group<\/strong>).<\/p>\n<p>This release includes 2 live sets recorded at Rudyard\u2019s pub in Houston, Texas in 2004 and 2005. The second show being recorded just days before Biscuits untimely death on August, 18th 2005.<\/p>\n<p>Totalling 25 songs, this double LP features original cover art by Biscuits and a die-cut silkscreened cover. It also includes a set of 20\u00a0<strong>Cargo Cult<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Texas Biscuit Bombs<\/strong>\u00a0flyers.
